**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Eastbrook Healthcare Center. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients of all ages. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and a passion for helping individuals improve their communication abilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based techniques and interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders, treatment options, and strategies for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with the latest research and trends in speech therapy.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and community resources to support patients' overall well-being.
- Provide guidance and training to support staff, caregivers, and family members in implementing communication strategies.

**Qualifications:**

- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, school, or rehabilitation environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
